How Do I Invite a Partner?
Partnerships in Goliath let two organizations collaborate on specific deals without merging their entire pipelines. Common use cases include wholesaler-investor pairings, joint ventures on fix-and-flip projects, and referral networks for out-of-market leads. Only organization admins can send partnership invitations, and the receiving organization must also be using Goliath.
Step-by-Step Guide
Section titled “Step-by-Step Guide”-
Navigate to the Partnerships and Referrals settings
From the main navigation, go to Settings and select Partnerships and Referrals from the sidebar. If you’re an admin, you’ll see an option to invite new partners.
-
Enter the partner organization’s email
Click the Invite Partner button and enter the email address of an admin from the organization you want to partner with. The email must belong to an existing Goliath organization.
-
Send the invitation
Click Send Invitation. The receiving organization’s admin will receive a partnership request they can accept or decline.
-
Wait for acceptance
Once an admin on the receiving side accepts the invitation, the partnership becomes active. Both organizations can then share specific deals and contacts with each other.
How Partnership Sharing Works
Section titled “How Partnership Sharing Works”Partnerships do NOT grant automatic access to all your data. Instead, sharing happens on a per-deal or per-contact basis. When you want to collaborate on a specific opportunity, you explicitly share that deal with your partner organization. Team members from both organizations can then be added as participants on the shared deal, view the deal timeline, and collaborate in real time.
This approach ensures your full pipeline and contact database remain private unless you choose to share individual records.
