How Do I Update My Profile?

Your profile in Goliath controls both your personal information (name, email, phone, avatar) and your organization’s shared settings (org name, logo, address, time zone). Keeping your profile up-to-date ensures accurate notifications, proper attribution on deal activity, and correct details in outbound emails and documents. Every team member can edit their own profile; only organization admins can change organization-wide settings.

  1. Navigate to Profile Settings

    Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of Goliath, then select Settings from the dropdown menu. In the Settings sidebar, click My Profile to open your profile page.

  2. Edit personal information in the MY PROFILE section

    Update your Name, Email, or Phone Number by clicking into the respective field, making your changes, and clicking elsewhere to save. Changes persist automatically when you blur the field. You may see a small saved indicator confirming the update.

  3. Upload or change your avatar photo

    Click the circular avatar placeholder or existing photo to upload a new image. Choose a static image file (JPEG, PNG) from your device. Your avatar appears throughout Goliath—on activity timelines, notifications, assignment badges, and the team directory—so a recognizable photo helps teammates quickly identify your contributions.

  4. Review or edit organization settings (admins only)

    Scroll down to the ORGANIZATION section. If you are an admin, you can edit the Organization Name, Logo, Address, and Default Time Zone. These values propagate to email signatures, workflow timing, and forms. If you are not an admin, this section is read-only; contact your admin to request changes.

Goliath typically uses an identity provider (like Clerk) to manage authentication. Look for a Change Password or Security link in your profile settings, or contact your IT admin if Goliath is integrated with your company’s single sign-on (SSO) system.

Q: Does changing my email affect my login?

Yes. Your email is your login identifier. After updating your email, use the new address to sign in to Goliath. You may be prompted to verify the new email before it becomes active.

No. Goliath supports static image formats (JPEG, PNG) for avatar photos. Animated GIFs are not supported.
